A former Queensland and Australian Schoolboy rugby league player and contracted player of the Brisbane Broncos, Paul is now employed as a member of the Football Department at the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Football Club. Dyer has forged a career in professional sports coaching and administration, having been at the Brisbane Broncos Rugby League Football Club since 1995 as either a player or full-time staff member.
The NRLW Premiership was established in 2018 with Dyer being appointed the Brisbane Broncos Head Coach, overseeing the recruitment and coaching of Brisbane’s first ever women’s NRL team. The Broncos enjoyed a fantastic Premiership winning season in the competitions inaugural year, winning all its games and defeating the Sydney Roosters in the Grand Final 34-12. Paul was also the Head Coach of the successful Australian Women’s Rugby League (Jillaroos) team from 2009, with the team winning Australia its first ever World Cup in Leeds, UK, 2013 and breaking the 14-year reign of New Zealand.
